Jewelry Designed for Change

We’ve heard the chant, “A change is going to come,” but this change in jewelry is already on the market and it’s jewelry like you’ve never seen before!

The interchangeable line of jewelry makes wearing the same piece of jewelry over and over seem obsolete and encourages mixing up your style without breaking your bank buying gems. Who doesn’t like jewelry and lots of it?

Not your small everyday entrepreneur anymore, Robert Smith, creator of Kameleon, is now big time because he had a big idea in 2005 and has managed to move from his garage into retail stores across the United States in a few short years.

What is this Kameleon jewelry that touts it’s all about change, you ask? It’s a jewelry system that offers interchangeability across the line switching JewelPops between your necklace, your earrings, your braclet or your pins.

Here’s how it works. The silver sterling line of jewelry has a little hole in it. In that hole you insert a jewel. He calls them JewelPops. You can change the jewel whenever you want to by simply popping out the stone and replacing it with another one. You collect the JewelPops like charms, or get them as gifts from the hubby or special friends.

For instance, do you have a necklace that you love but don’t want to look like you’re always wearing your one and only piece of jewelry? That’s where wearing Kameleon jewelry and its line of JewelPops come in.

The pops come in over 200 colors and materials such as Swarovski Crystal, opals or semi-precious stones and are interchangable with the line of 50 different pieces of jewelry including sunglasses.

So you can take the JewelPop out of your necklace and pop it into your ring or out of your ring and pop it into your earrings, or out of your earrings and into your sunglasses. Get it? Change, Change, Change.

This is an amazing invention and Bob spent years working in the jewelry business before his own entrepreneural spirit popped with this bright idea.

It always helps to have your lovely wife by your side and at the Holiday Gift Guide Show in NYC last week, Bob had his with him. Allison, who does the Public Relations for the company is also responsible for designing the compact case that holds your JewelPops for storage or travel. That was a nice woman’s touch!

The affordable jewelry priced between $20 to $200 and the JewelPops available for $20 to $40 is a hit as evidenced by the 650 stores across the United States, Canada, Australia and the Netherlands who carry the line.

Pop a JewelPop in and poof, like magic, it’s something different.
