I’m hot on Oprah’s trail again. I hear these shoes were featured in O Magazine so I must have good taste too. I couldn’t pass up the colorful flip flops called OKAb whose slogan is, “shoes that love you.” (We women are always looking for shoes that love our feet because there’s nothing worse than a pair that don’t love our feet. OUCH!)

The shoe line has more than 30 different styles, all featuring either Italian stones, hand set accents or pretty print bows. They are really just plain cute and comfortable.

They’re called the shoe that loves you because they’re made for comfort with their ergonomic and reflexology inspired foot bed; the one piece construction and the non slip, non marking properties. These shoes are also vegan friendly. (That means the process to make the shoe is friendly to our environment and does not use animal by-products in the manufacturing process.)

Guess what else is really neat? They’re made in the USA. When’s the last time you saw a shoe manufactured right here on good old US soil? The OKAb factory is in Buford, Georgia where they’ll accept your old flip flops back for recycling. Yep, just send your old, well loved and well worn ones back to corporate headquarters and they’ll be ground and mixed with virgin material to create a new product. How cool is that?

The shoes are available in sizes 2 to 12 and OKAb promotes the idea of a “mommy and me” shoe package. There’s nothing a little girl loves more than playing in mommy’s shoes. Now they can both wear the same style sandal at the same time. That’s cute.

Get a pair of these or two pair. So many styles and colors that you will definitely find just the right one. The creator and designer said she’s working on a “wedding sandal” to slip on under your dress about halfway through the reception when your feet are screaming.
