Cool Candles
I spent a little extra time in a booth with one of my favorites of the day! This was a lady named Lynn and she was the epitome of what I like to discover when I’m out. She’s what I call a “Homepreneur.” Fresh out of her spare bedroom, Lynn is making candles that resemble everything from a cool glass of lemonade to real looking ice cream sundaes. Her display was adorable and I knew I wanted one of these.
Lynn says the crowd validated that she was on the right tract with her new business even making suggestions that she submit her work to televisions stations because they never use real food props anyway and her stuff looks real.
Energized by the crowd enthusiasm, the new entrepreneur is setting up a web site and ordering business cards. I’ll be traveling to her location on my “Discovery Trail” soon so I can bring you pictures of her goodies. She’s holding my ICE TEA candle set that’s going to go on my patio for the 4th of July!
