Wandering along Washington Street in Hoboken I came across a booth called Barrette Boutique. Of course I had to stop because I’m always looking for something for this hair of mine! These barrettes were unique, beaded clips that ranged in sizes from small to extra large and Susan, the exhibitor, was more than happy to help me pick the right size for my ponytail.

Despite my being attracted to the larger sizes, Susan quickly slipped one on the back of my hair and sold me on a small size.

The barrette’s are used for a variety of “up off the neck” hairdo’s including a French Twist, not just ponytails. The “what makes these different” is in the way they clip onto your hair. Nothing to catch and break your hair off like some hair accessories.

It was almost harder choosing the color of the beads on the barrette than the size because she had such a great display of choices.
